8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
Please note: all students must be in attendance the full day 7:45 A.M. - 2:45 p.m. to participate.

2026 MMS 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony:
Team 8-1 at 5:30pm
Team 8-2 at 6:15pm
Team 8-3 at 7:00pm
*Livestream only event. Recording option not available.
All students will be sent home with their promotion tickets. Everyone coming to attend the promotion ceremony will need a ticket to enter. Students that are participating in the promotion do not need a ticket.
Babies and toddlers under 2 will not need a ticket if they can be in the lap of an adult.
Balloons and Noise Makers
We kindly ask for all families to please leave balloons and noise makers at home. Balloon and noise makers will not be allowed in the ceremony.

Gown Care
The gowns students received should be worn for promotion. They can not be ironed or put in the dryer. Please steam or hang them up to remove wrinkles. For middle school, students do not receive caps. All students participating in promotion need to wear their gown zipped up for the ceremony.
Important Dates:
***All students will be taking home a pink letter at the end of February with details on all of the events for the end of the year including qualifications and details.***
